This series is given the name Allegory, the rhetorical invention of the “agoreysis” (speaking) of “allos” (other), as a literary device that applies characteristics of language on jewel design. Allegory as an extended and complex metaphor is found in the form and fundamental elements of this series’ jewels, which refer to the models of thought in an abstractive way.
This is achieved using thread-like intertwining elements, which, when linearly or rotationally repeated, create rectangular and spherical compositions as schematic representations of ideas and their associations. The structural form of this concept has given the jewelry of this series a poetic and cognitive character.
