About This Project

In a creative spirit of experimentation, the jewels of this series are the result of basic transformation processes, such as rotation, transposition and folding. The rhombus (diamond), as the basic design unit, rotates in three dimensions, replicates itself and creates hierarchies of individual elements that abstractly refer to genetics.

Metal is the dominant material of this series expressing the homogeneity of any given sequence, whereas the distinction between elements -different in scale and hierarchy status- is accomplished by the addition of little spheres made of semiprecious stones.
